I am the proud spouse of a physician. I absolutely love my husband’s discipline, drive, intellect, and servant’s heart, all the attributes that so many physicians embody. His ambition and brilliance were a primary reason why I fell completely in love with him.
I often say that CMDA Atlanta shouldn't be addressed as merely a ministry, rather we should talk about it as a movement. We are a group that goes OUT and engages the world. Our purpose with CMDA Atlanta is to plant, water and grow the seeds of the gospel throughout the world. CMDA Atlanta is part of powerful movement that has not just survived, but thrived these past 2000 years.

With so many people around the world and in our own communities who need your expertise, knowledge and care, you know better than anyone how easy it is to neglect one's own well-being.
When I found out that Megan and I were going on a house call I was ecstatic. We were taking silly pictures together and joked around about trying to look "cool" while giggling like school girls. We were thrilled to asses another UTI or pneumonia or maybe an interesting looking ulcer. The truth of the matter is we were not equipped for What we saw! Not in the slightest.
In order to grow in Christlikeness, we’ve got to intentionally apply the gospel to everything we are and everything we long to do. We’re not to sever our obedience from [Christ's] perfect sinlessness nor disconnect our mortal life from his resurrected life. We’ve got to understand ourselves in the light of our new identity, seeing ourselves as we truly are: sinful and flawed, loved and welcomed. Only these gospel realities have enough power to engender faith, kill idolatry, produce character change, and motivate faithful obedience.
Did I offer peace today? Did I bring a smile to someone's face? Did I say words of healing? Did I let go of my anger and resentment? Did I forgive? Did I love? These are the real questions. I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will bear many fruits, here in this world and the life to come.
