Our annual service with the SafeHouse Ministry Chili Outreach will be held on Saturday November 28th at SafeHouse Ministries which is located at 89 Ellis Street in downtown Atlanta.

Each year, our medical team provides services to the homeless who attend the event. As in past years, our volunteers who are available to serve should plan to arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 a.m. so that we begin to see patients around 10:00 a.m. If all goes as planned the mobile medical unit will be on site and we'll also use pop-up tents.

It would be helpful to have 3 to 4 providers, 3 to 4 nurses, and a similar number of eligibility specialists. Its hard to gauge the number of patients we might see, but this level of staffing should be more than sufficient.

This is also an excellent service opportunity for families as their are volunteer opportunities for everyone at the event from serving chili to helping out w/ other activities.
